The Norwegian VFX-Association is a driving force dedicated to uniting, supporting, and advancing the CGI, Animation and Visual Effects industry in Norway.   • Stephanie Erso

    CHAIRMAN

    Whimsical by nature and ambitious by instinct, Stephanie is driven by an insatiable curiosity and a relentless appetite for complex, creative problem-solving. With a background in communication, media studies and marketing management, she brings a strategic and interdisciplinary perspective to the industry and thrives in environments that demand critical thinking, adaptability and collaboration. As a CEO, producer and VFX artist, Stephanie is particularly passionate about fostering creative cultures that encourage experimentation, push boundaries and challenge the conventions shaping the future of the digital arts.

  • Christian Korhonen

    VICE CHAIR


    Driven by a passion for large-scale, physics-driven FX, technical problem-solving, and cinematic storytelling, Christian Korhonen has contributed to productions such as Troll, The Wave, Max Manus: Man of War, and the Netflix series La Palma, bringing believable large-scale chaos and natural phenomena to the screen.

  • Roy Ranheim Kristoffersen

    BOARD MEMBER

    Curious by nature and fascinated by both character animation and technology, Roy loves exploring new ways of bringing procedural workflows into animation production. As a Lead 3D Artist at Qvisten Animation, he works with Houdini to develop tools for rigging, animation, and character-driven pipelines. Roy also regularly shares his work through talks, tutorials, and workshops around the world, focusing on procedural animation and modern production workflows.

  • Lars Ellingbø

    BOARD MEMBER


    Lars is deeply inspired by the craft of cartoon animation and the expressive traditions of classic animation. His work is shaped by bold timing, character-driven humor, and exaggerated performances that bring stylized characters vividly to life. Alongside running Saurus Animation, he is passionate about sharing knowledge and supporting the community through talks and workshops about animation, studio building, and the creative process behind stylized CG storytelling.

  • Kristian Trejos

    BOARD MEMBER

    Kristian is an enthusiastic and outgoing member of the VFX community, with a strong passion for both the craft and the people working in the industry. He is currently pursuing a BA in Computer Arts at Kristiania University College, specialising in compositing. With a background as a child welfare worker and former environmental therapist, Kristian brings a unique perspective and strong interpersonal skills to the table. He serves as the student representative on the board and is also the elected representative for the Computer Arts program at Kristiania.
